~Bass Guitar~~Bass Amplifiers~~Crate Taxi Series~

This is another trusted product from InstrumentPro. They have a great selection of band gear, including the Crate TX15 presented on this page.

Crate TX15 If you're the type of performer who requires the ultimate in portability, but refuse to sacrifice tone for mobility, the Crate TX15 was made for you. With up to eight hours of battery power, Taxi lets you leave the wall outlets far behind. Dual channels allow you to control two instruments, or plug in your guitar and use the handy 1/4" & XLR combo input jack for a high-quality vocal mic. The specially designed 8" woofer and tweeter ensure clean, loud, full-range performance that will astound you. Perfect for solo performers who want to play and sing, or use a CD player/drum machine in remote areas, the TX15 includes a 120V charger/adapter for standard operation and recharging the battery. Crate TX15 Front Panel: 1. INPUT 1: Use this jack to connect a low or a high impedance microphone to the amplifier by means of a shielded signal cable. 2. CD INPUT: Use these jacks to connect the output of a CD player, a tape player, a rhythm machine or any other similar source to the amplifier by means of a shielded signal cable. These jacks are connected in parallel - a stereo signal should be connected to both jacks (the left channel to one jack, the right channel to the other), while a mono signal may be connected to either jack. 10. HEADPHONES: Use this jack to connect a pair of stereo headphones to the amplifier. The internal speaker is disconnected when the headphones jack is used. 11. LED: When the power switch is on and the battery is fully charged, this LED illuminates yellow. The LED illuminates red when the battery needs recharging. 12. POWER: Use this switch to turn the amplifier on (top of the switch depressed) and off (bottom of the switch depressed). Crate TX15 Rear Panel: 13. DC CHARGER PLUG: Use this jack to connect the 15VDC charger to the amplifier to recharge the battery (power switch off) or to supply power to the amplifier while playing (power switch on). Plug the charger into an AC outlet of the proper voltage as listed on the charger. NOTE: The 15VDC charger will recharge the amplifier's battery only when the amp is not being played.
