AKG HUB4000Q The HUB 4000 Q enables you to connect up to eight AKG devices to the HiQnet™ system developed by Harman Professional. Being a true plug and play device, all you need to do to install the HUB 4000 Q is to connect it to your computer via a commercial CAT-5 network cable. For large wireless systems, you can of course add several HUB 4000 Qs using standard Ethernet switches (or routers, wireless hubs, etc.), allowing you to configure and monitor the entire setup from a single computer. The System Architect™ control software, once installed on the computer, will automatically identify all HUB 4000 Qs connected to the computer. The AKG designed, channel-oriented user interface in System Architect™ provides intuitive control and makes setting up the system child's play using Environment Scan, Auto Setup Wizard, and many other functions. The HUB 4000 Q quickly and easily integrates the WMS 4000 wireless system into any complex HiQnet™ environment. Features: Ethernet interface for connecting up to eight AKG devices to a HiQnet™ network Full HiQnet™ protocol compatibility True plug & play device All-metal case Specifications: The HiQnet™ network interface shall allow up to eight AKG devices to be connected to a single computer. The network interface shall provide eight RJ11 connectors for connecting the AKG network devices and one RJ45 connector for connection to a HiQnet™ network via a standard CAT-5 Ethernet cable. For use in larger wireless systems, the network interface shall be capable of being daisy-chained using a standard Ethernet switch (or router, wireless hub, etc.). The devices connected to the network interface shall be controlled from a computer using System Architect™ software developed by Harman Pro. The network interface shall be fitted with ten LEDs for monitoring data transfer from the computer to the receivers and vice versa. The monitoring LEDs shall be capable of being disabled through the control software. The network interface shall operate on 12 ±2 VDC, draw a maximum current of 200 mA, and measure 200 x 190 x 44 mm (7.8 x 7.5 x 1.7 in.). Its weight shall be approx. 970 g (2.2 lbs.).
